FWD Life Insurance to appoint new fund manager for Peso Funds
FWD Life Insurance has appointed Security Bank Trust and Asset Management Group (SECB TAMG) to be the new fund manager for the Peso Fixed Income Fund, Peso Balanced Fund, and Peso Equity Fund effective November 13, 2024.
This decision was made carefully, considering the track record and accomplishments of SECB TAMG. As of August 31, 2024, SECB TAMG manages assets totaling PHP 124.75 billion. Their funds have been recognized by the CFA Society of the Philippines for outstanding performance. The SB Peso Bond Fund was awarded the Best Managed Fund for the Long-Term Peso Bond Category in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Additionally, the SB Philippine Equity Index Fund was named the Best Managed Fund for the Peso Equity Index Fund Category in 2024.
The SECB TAMG investment team brings over 90 years of combined industry experience. The team is composed of seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in finance, economics, and portfolio management, with most holding the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, demonstrating their commitment to providing positive risk-adjusted investment returns through a disciplined investment process and teamwork.
